5. Bake Resurrection Rolls (Easter Empty Tomb Rolls)

Teach the concept of the empty tomb with this delicious hands-on activity! Resurrection rolls are simple to make, symbolizing how the tomb was empty when Jesus rose from the dead.
Ingredients:

• Crescent roll dough or biscuits
• Marshmallows (to represent Jesus)
• Cinnamon sugar
• Butter

Wrap each marshmallow in the dough to symbolize Jesus being placed in the tomb, then bake as directed. When cooked, the marshmallow “disappears,” leaving an empty roll and illustrating the empty tomb!
