Make contractions and alphabetize words. Apply spelling concepts through written practice of dictated words and sentences. Rewrite phrases using possessive nouns. Be creative and write a cinquain.

Understand place value, and add two-digit numbers with regrouping. Use simple logic to solve a mathematical word problem. Create a Venn diagram, and use it to compare and contrast character traits of John Adams and Thomas Jefferson. Draw a horizontal and a vertical line of symmetry. Use dice to compare three-digit numerals and arrange them in ascending order.

Use a Tootsie Roll to demonstrate how muscles pull and tear. Perform fun activities to improve flexibility and develop balance skills.
